Memorial Grant-in-Aid of Gamma Theta Chapter of Ohio
The Gamma Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, the International Society for Key Women Educators, proudly announces a $1500.00, Memorial Grant-in-Aid Scholarship opportunity for aspiring educators and teachers. To be considered for this scholarship, the candidate must reside in Eastern Lake County, be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in education with an accredited program, and be in good standing. Eastern Lake County includes those that are residing in the communities served by the following school districts: Painesville City Local Schools, Riverside Local Schools, Perry Local Schools, Fairport Harbor Exempted Village Schools and Madison Local Schools. Historically, The Memorial Grant-in-Aid Scholarship was established in November 1971, in memory of all deceased members of the Gamma Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. To date, 57 aspiring educators from Eastern Lake County, Ohio have been recipients of this grant. We encourage all qualified applicants to apply by completing the application form below. A hard copy must be received by October 15th, 2025, for consideration. The chosen recipient will be notified in November 2025.
